Why this pairing works
Scalding Water solves the one weakness of Scorch builds: burn damage is slow, and bosses often die before the damage-over-time pays off. This duo lets you cash in the entire stack instantly. The trade-off is that consuming the stacks resets your burn, so the duo favours burst windows over sustained pressure.
Spielweise
Build Scorch stacks with fast Attacks, then detonate with a wave. Against bosses, hold the wave until the stack count peaks rather than firing on cooldown. Works best on weapons that can stack quickly — Sister Blades and Umbral Flames are the strongest carriers.
